Welcome to I Love To Trade.com!   This website started out as a simple place for me to share trading thoughts. From these humble beginnings, I’m working hard to ensure that it will continue to grow and prove itself as a useful source of information for traders and investors.  I hope you’ll join me in this incredible journey that we call trading.

I really do love to trade.  Currently I trade a combination of stocks, index futures and Forex currencies. Most of my trading is focused on shorter time frames, (day trading and swing trading) but I also do some longer term trading / investing including mutual fund timing.  Outside of the time I spend with my ministry activities, family, friends and recreation, almost everything I do is directly related to trading.  My goal for this website is to share trading information that I pick up along the way.

I spent most of my early “career years” developing and applying technical problem solving skills as a registered Professional chemical engineer.  During those years, I was most comfortable when I was literally and figuratively consumed by a plant start-up.  There was something truly alluring about immersing myself in the technology, processes and people required to turn a pile of stuff into a functioning plant.  I guess it’s that same allure that keeps me digging into system design and trading.   Trading is just another activity where it is fun to make some sense out of the chaos.

Along my trading journey I have had the opportunity and immense honor to work with some great folks in the trading world including Van K. Tharp, Marc Chaikin, Porter Stansberry, Christopher Castroviejo, Brad Martin, Brian June, Tom Peterson, Chuck Le Beau and Steve Sjuggerud.   These folks have been a great inspiration to me, and it is my hope that their work will inspire you either directly or indirectly as well.  I plan to use many different tools to help convey winning trading concepts from these incredible folks including articles, interviews, workshops, and more.
